Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded when I convert it to Word?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using pdf.js — the file never leaves your device.
Will the Word document look exactly like my PDF?
It keeps the page size and margins, headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, font sizes, alignment, bullet lists, indents, and embedded images. Tables come out as lines of text, multi-column layouts may interleave, and exotic fonts are mapped to their closest standard family — so it is close, not pixel-perfect.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?
Not yet. Scanned PDFs are images with no text layer, so there is nothing to extract without OCR. You can still convert a scan to PNG images with this tool.
